We are looking for a System Analyst with a hands-on development background. This is a hybrid role: part analyst, part developer.
This role suits someone who's worked as a developer before but enjoys the analysis side just as much — requirements, data flows, edge cases — and doesn't want to fully let go of writing code.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating them into specifications and user stories developers can build from directly
- Design and document system/API integration flows (sequence diagrams, data models, request/response contracts) for internal systems and third-party vendors
- Review developers' technical designs and pull requests for correctness against requirements, flagging edge cases and gaps
- Write and debug code hands-on when needed — small fixes, scripts, proof-of-concepts or integration test harnesses (.NET/C#, JavaScript)
- Investigate production issues and data inconsistencies directly in code and databases (SQL and NoSQL), rather than relying solely on developer reports
- Validate third-party API integrations by making test calls, inspecting payloads, and reproducing issues
- Act as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and the development team — able to discuss implementation details, not just requirements, in the developers' own terms
- Support QA in defining test scenarios and acceptance criteria, informed by technical understanding of the underlying implementation
- Produce clear technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience as a developer and/or as a system/business analyst with strong hands-on coding ability
- Working proficiency in .NET / C#
- Working proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Solid SQL skills (querying, debugging data issues) and familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Practical experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML)
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable writing specifications, process flows, and data models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud infrastructure
- Experience with version control workflows (Git) and code review processes
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
