As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead the user experience strategy for enterprise platforms supporting a leading client in the energy industry. You will engage directly with stakeholders, facilitate collaboration and lead design initiatives for tools and systems that support employees across onshore and offshore operational environments - from field operations and asset monitoring to logistics coordination and support functions.
A core part of this role is working closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to bridge the gap between requirements gathering and design execution, ensuring that user needs shape solutions from the start.
This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand and requires fluency in Thai to engage effectively within a predominantly Thai-speaking organizational culture.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners from the earliest stages - bringing a user research and design lens into requirements sessions to surface unmet needs, edge cases and workflow complexities before they become design problems
- Lead user research, journey mapping and facilitation workshops - including Design Thinking and co-design sessions - conducted in both Thai and English to align stakeholders and drive toward a clear design direction
- Design end-to-end user experiences for complex operational workflows, translating them into user flows, wireframes and designs that extend the existing Design System rather than rebuild from scratch
- Own the full Figma workflow from interactive prototyping through to Dev Mode handoff with annotations and staging review, ensuring design intent is faithfully realized in production
- Champion smarter ways of working by identifying opportunities to use AI tools to streamline the requirements-to-design pipeline, reduce duplication and improve the speed and quality of delivery
- Drive a culture of design validation by proactively bringing solutions to users for testing and evaluation, measuring effectiveness rather than just aesthetics
Requirements
- Extensive experience in enterprise UX, Product or Experience Design, ideally from a consultancy or agency background with a track record of shipping complex digital products
- Fluent Thai language proficiency with strong professional communication skills in English
- Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners, with the ability to engage in requirements discussions and translate them into sound design decisions
- Strong Figma proficiency across the full design lifecycle - including prototyping, design systems and Dev Mode handoff - with a solid understanding of how design decisions connect to front-end implementation
- Experience designing enterprise UI patterns for operational contexts, including dashboards, data tables, multi-step workflows and field-facing interfaces, with an eye for interaction states and edge cases
- An outcome-oriented mindset focused on whether a solution works for the user, not just how it looks in a review
