Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing "one-click" delivery pipelines and validation scripts to automate the export of assets from DCC tools directly to the game client.
- Developing shaders, VFX, and supporting 3D graphics/animation integration within Cocos 2d-x and Unity engines.
- Driving rendering optimization and regular profiling (draw calls, memory, LODs) to ensure high performance across mobile and desktop platforms.
- Building internal utilities and Figma API plugins to reconcile asset usage, automate tagging, and streamline UI implementation.
- Establishing technical standards, Git versioning rules, and documentation to bridge the gap between the Art and Development teams.
Job requirements
- Experience in the gaming industry in a Senior Technical Artist position.
- You are "more of a programmer than an artist."
- Experience working with 3D support in engines like Cocos 2d-x and Unity.
- Ability to write scripts for automation, tools, and shaders.
- Deep understanding of draw calls, batching, memory management, and asset weight optimization.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD for art assets, and DCC tools (Blender/3ds Max).
