We're seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer skilled in Python who can build and run a solid testing framework, ensuring quality throughout automated testing efforts while guiding fellow team members in a dynamic setting.
Our client is a global leader in prestige beauty retail, part of one of the world's leading luxury goods conglomerates. Operating across international markets, the company is recognized for its expertise, innovation, and entrepreneurial approach to beauty retail, empowering customers through immersive and personalized shopping experiences.
The project involves developing MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to power two key initiatives: enabling third-party partners to build their own AI shopping agents integrated with the client's retail ecosystem, and creating internal AI agents that support the client's internal services by automatically detecting and resolving operational issues as they occur.
Responsibilities
- Execute and implement automated tests to guarantee thorough coverage
- Build, maintain, and improve the Test Automation Framework (TAF)
- Develop and expand CI/CD pipelines
- Design API and UI tests to confirm system functionality
- Evaluate AI Agents for accuracy and dependability
- Guide and coach team members on best practices in test automation
- Collaborate on data architectures and data pipelines to enable testing
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in software test automation
- Hands-on experience enhancing TAF and implementing automated tests
- Familiarity with data architectures and data pipelines
- Strong skills in Python along with frameworks like pytest, pytest-xdist, and Playwright
- Demonstrated ability to build API and UI tests
- Hands-on background testing AI Agents
- Knowledge of ChatGPT or similar LLM-based chatbots
- A mindset suited for start-up environments
- English proficiency at B2+ level or above
Nice to have
- Previous exposure to LLMs, search systems, or NLP initiatives
- Fundamental knowledge of how LLMs function
- Experience with langchain or related frameworks
