About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a cloud product team. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to build and improve a large-scale cloud-based product used by enterprise customers.

The Cloud Product is a large scale cloud based product for enterprise customers. You will work on backend services and product capabilities in close collaboration with product, design, engineering, QA, and other stakeholders.

About the Team

You will work in a cross functional product team with product managers, designers, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders. The team collaborates in a distributed and multicultural environment with a strong focus on communication and shared delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin, Java, and related technologies
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Create unit tests and participate in integration or performance testing when needed
Take part in code reviews
Contribute to solving complex technical problems with attention to performance, security, and user experience
Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, implement, and support product features

Requirements

4+ years of experience in backend development of commercial web applications using Java and or Kotlin
Experience with Kotlin
Strong understanding of core computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and complexity
Experience designing and working with APIs
Experience building or supporting distributed and scalable systems
Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, or similar tools
Good understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java
Upper Intermediate English or higher
Ability to work independently in a distributed team and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment
