Senior SAP Data Deployment Engineer
We are seeking a Senior SAP Data Deployment Engineer to own deployment readiness for assigned data objects across the SAP migration scope. You will coordinate cleansing, field mapping, loads, validation, verification, and issue closure with Business Data Owners and ETL/Data Migration Teams. Join the program and help deliver accurate, signed-off data.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end data migration activities across data cleansing, field mapping, migration loads, validation, verification, documentation, and issue resolution
- Serve as the deployment focal point for assigned data objects within the migration scope
- Partner with Business Data Owners, Deployment Functional Process Experts, ETL/Data Migration Teams, Legacy Teams, Product Teams, and Global Functional Data Owners
- Review data readiness reports, defects, and data deviations, and drive migration issues through to closure
- Support data verification testing and align stakeholders to complete business data sign-off
- Deliver training and ongoing support to business users on data migration processes and requirements
- Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of migration data for all assigned objects
- Balance multiple activities and stakeholders in parallel within a global project setting
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow Agile ways of working across the migration lifecycle
Requirements
- Proven track record with 3+ years of SAP data migration and deployment work, including data cleansing, field mapping, data loads, validation, and data verification
- Demonstrated experience serving as a data migration focal point, deployment data lead, or DFDO on an SAP implementation or transformation initiative
- Strong experience partnering with Business Data Owners, Functional Teams, ETL/Data Migration Teams, and Legacy Teams
- Solid understanding of SAP configurations, business processes, and data dependencies
- Hands-on ability to interpret data readiness reports, defects, data deviations, and migration issues and drive them through resolution
- Practical experience supporting data verification testing and coordinating business data sign-off
- Background in training and supporting business users on data migration processes and requirements
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology and experience delivering in an Agile project environment
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills
- Very good command of English, written and spoken, with experience in a multinational environment
- Strong ability to run multiple activities and stakeholders in parallel and perform well under pressure
- High ownership mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently while collaborating across global and local teams
- English proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with SAP data migration/load tools and Data Migration Workbooks (DMWs)
- Exposure to Washing Machine runs and structured data cleansing cycles
- Knowledge of SAP Supply Chain data and processes, especially SD/MM
