Operations Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for an Operations Engineer to support data driven solutions for network filings in a regulated environment. You will work with complex datasets, contribute to performance improvements, and help ensure data accuracy aligned with healthcare regulations. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and business teams while working in alignment with US time zone coverage.

You will be part of a distributed team of data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders. The team collaborates closely, shares ownership of deliverables, and focuses on continuous improvement and knowledge exchange.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business logic and rule sets into functional data solutions
• Optimize SQL queries and Python scripts to improve performance and reliability
• Lead small initiatives focused on operational and process improvements
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver aligned data solutions
• Handle routine operational incidents and ensure timely resolution
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues affecting claims processing
• Implement temporary solutions while contributing to long term improvements
• Document incidents and create reports to support transparency and process optimization

Requirements

• Strong experience with SQL and data analysis
• Experience with Python scripting
• Ability to understand and apply healthcare related regulations when guidance is provided
• Attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
• Experience in troubleshooting data and operational issues

• Experience in healthcare domain or provider network operations
• Understanding of claims processing workflows
• Experience optimizing large scale data queries and scripts
