We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our R&D Team, who will be able to turn research prototypes into high-quality, reliable code that will later be used by the Core Gameplay Team.
Our immediate goals include:
Developing next-generation animation systems.
What you will do:
- Research, analyze, and provide recommendations for improving technologies;
- Optimize existing solutions and introduce new approaches;
- Work as part of the R&D Team, collaborating with other experts and sharing knowledge;
- Contribute to the development of a top-tier game project for next-generation consoles.
Skills and requirements:
- Expert modern C++ in production;
- Proficiency with profiling/debugging tools;
- Strong algorithmic mindset and performance focus;
- Advanced 3D math applied to animation and movement systems;
- Solid kinematics/dynamics understanding used in character motion;
- Proven experience designing and implementing modern real-time animation systems;
- Ability to read scientific papers and translate theory into robust, maintainable code;
- Collaborative, proactive problem‑solver comfortable working with animators and engineers.
Nice-to-Have:
- Modern locomotion techniques: motion matching, pose/motion warping, distance matching, advanced IK, predictive foot placement, inertial blending, look-at systems;
- Experience with physical animation, contact-sport specifics, blending authored motion with physics;
- Practical knowledge of ML-assisted workflows or runtime inference constraints;
- Conference talks, publications, or meaningful open-source work (especially in animation/physics tech).
