We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team.
You will design, build, and evolve the shared cloud platform services that product and application teams consume. This role treats the cloud platform as a product, delivering reusable building blocks, paved roads, and a consistent developer experience aligned with CCoE standards.
Responsibilities
- Build reusable platform capabilities, including shared services, standard compute patterns, and golden baselines that enable safe and rapid workload onboarding
- Maintain and enhance centralized services such as logging, monitoring, secrets, identity, file transfers, and key management
- Co-create "paved roads" and golden paths in partnership with product teams, security, and operations
- Collaborate closely with Cloud DevOps and Automation engineers to codify platform interfaces in IaC and pipelines
- Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, resilience, and the overall developer experience
- Serve as the voice of the customer for internal development teams to prioritize platform features and lifecycle investments
- Ensure platform capabilities align with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture guardrails
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on cloud engineering background combined with a product and platform mindset
- Deep knowledge of AWS compute, storage, networking, and managed services such as EKS, ECS, Lambda, EC2, and RDS
- Strong background in architecting shared services for logging, monitoring, secrets management, identity, and centralized integrations such as Transfer Family, KMS, and IAM federation
- Familiarity with security-by-design practices, including IAM roles, SSO/OAuth integrations, SIEM feeds, and policy-as-code
- Experience defining platform APIs and interfaces and collaborating with DevOps and IaC teams to automate adoption
- Customer-centric mindset paired with excellent stakeholder communication abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher)
