- Regularly analyze competitors: updates, events, battle passes, retention mechanics, economy, and other product decisions.
- Identify growth opportunities: uncover gaps, unmet user needs, and product patterns impacting key metrics.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources: analytics, market intelligence tools, app stores, communities, and user feedback.
- Work with hypotheses: formulate research questions, define validation approaches, and propose methods for testing.
- Deliver clear insights and recommendations for product, analytics, marketing, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to research for new projects: analyze market, audience, competitors, and product-market fit.

- Ability to work with ambiguity and turn broad questions into structured research plans.
- Experience analyzing competitors across mechanics, economy, audience, and positioning.
- Strong hypothesis-driven thinking, ability to work with data, and distinguish facts from assumptions.
