Senior/Lead Java Test Analyst/Engineer
Project description
We are looking for experienced QA Automation Engineers with hands-on, real-world experience in RestAssured (Java) and GitHub Copilot. Candidates should have actively used these tools in live projects, not just theoretical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using RestAssured (Java) Create and execute automated test scripts for RESTful services Leverage GitHub Copilot to accelerate test development and improve code quality Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams Ensure best practices in test automation, code reusability, and maintainability
SKILLS
Must have
- 7-9 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming.
- Proficiency in API automation (ReadyAPI/RestAssured)
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with automation frameworks, particularly Selenium.
- Practical experience using GitHub Copilot in development or automation workflows
- Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and implement automation solutions from scratch.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in guiding and mentoring team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Nice to have
Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, etc.) Knowledge of test reporting tools Airline Domain knowledge is a plus
