At Axlebolt we create games played daily by millions of users worldwide. Standoff 2 is one of the company’s key projects — a live product with continuous updates and a large volume of content.
We are currently expanding and looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to strengthen our Product Marketing team.
In this role, you will work on both Standoff 2 and new studio projects at different stages of development.
Tasks that you have to work with:
- Conduct market, competitor, and genre research for live and pre-launch products: analyze the market, competitors, trends, mechanics, monetization, content, and positioning.
- Support product teams with research: help inform decisions on features, game modes, monetization, audience, and product positioning.
- Regularly analyze competitors (updates, events, battle passes, game modes, retention mechanics, etc.).
- Identify growth opportunities: uncover gaps, unmet user needs, and successful product patterns.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources (analytics, app stores, social media, communities, research).
- Deliver clear insights and recommendations for product, marketing, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to research for new projects: analyze genres, audiences, market landscape, and positioning.
It will help you with this:
- 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, market research, or product strategy within mobile games or gaming.
- Strong experience in market and competitor research with a focus on actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of mobile gaming, F2P, live ops, retention, and content updates.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and translate broad questions into structured research plans.
- Experience analyzing competitors across mechanics, economy, audience, and positioning.
- Strong familiarity with game genres: shooter, RPG, strategy, action.
- English level B2+ for working with international markets and sources.
Would be a plus:
- Experience with midcore / competitive / shooter projects.
- Experience with products at pre-production / soft launch stages.
- Understanding of UX / player research (surveys, interviews, playtests).
- Experience with analytics and market intelligence tools.
