Join a leading global investment bank where data, regulation, and product ownership come together to drive meaningful change. We are looking for Senior and Lead‑level Business Analyst / Product Owner specialists to play a key role in shaping regulatory reporting and data solutions relied upon across the organization. You’ll work closely with business and technology teams, owning a backlog of enhancements and guiding ideas from concept through delivery.
This role offers a strong mix of hands‑on business analysis, SQL‑driven data exploration, and true product ownership. You’ll be part of a collaborative, agile environment with exposure to complex datasets, modern data platforms, and high‑impact initiatives that span regions and regulatory frameworks.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, working closely with stakeholders, and turning data into clear, valuable outcomes, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.
The position follows a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week from the office.

- Own and manage the product backlog, defining epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria while maintaining clear priorities aligned with regulatory deadlines and business value
- Elicit, analyse, and document requirements in collaboration with Operations, Compliance, Finance, and IT stakeholders
- Work extensively with data and SQL to profile and analyse large datasets (trades, positions, accounts, counterparties, instruments, and reference data), investigate and resolve data quality and reconciliation issues, and validate that delivered solutions meet business and regulatory requirements
- Design and maintain referential and static data models used for regulatory reporting — including instruments, counterparties, accounts, legal entities, classifications, and regulatory attributes — along with data mappings, transformations, and lineage documentation
- Coordinate and manage stakeholders by aligning expectations, managing scope, and proactively communicating risks, dependencies, and decisions
- Support delivery across multiple regulators, regions, and initiatives, managing frequent context switching while maintaining clarity on priorities
- Define and support testing activities by partnering with QA teams to ensure adequate test coverage, performing functional and data validation using SQL and BI/analytics tools, and reviewing and signing off on completed user stories and releases
- Contribute to roadmap planning for regulatory data platforms and related products, balancing regulatory change, technical debt reduction, and new data capabilities
Requirements

- Strong background in post-trade, operations, or regulatory reporting environments

- Solid understanding of banking and capital markets data, including trades, positions, reference data, and counterparty data
- Experience with regulatory, risk, or finance reporting in an investment bank or similar institution (e.g., transaction reporting, regulatory submissions, controls, and compliance data)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data and regulatory concepts into clear business outcomes
- Ability to manage frequent content and context switching across multiple regulatory initiatives and priorities
- Experience working with data platforms, BI tools, and modern analytics or reporting technologies is highly desirable
