Senior Java Developer
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design and build secure backend services and REST APIs for an asset movement platform in a wealth management domain. Responsibilities
- Design secure backend services and API contracts for platform capabilities
- Build backend microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop and maintain high-quality code aligned with engineering standards
- Conduct code review to ensure readability, security, and maintainability
- Implement unit tests and support automated quality practices in CI
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps to support reliable releases and operations
- Estimate development tasks and contribute to planning and delivery commitments
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and align on sprint goals and progress
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java development in production environments
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem for backend services
- Hands-on experience with REST API design and development for secure services
- Solid project experience with Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and planning
- Strong hard skills in microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts
- Hands-on experience with unit testing and CI practices
- Practical experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven integration
- Good understanding of full-stack application design and data modeling
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across engineering, QA, and DevOps
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for daily communication

- APIs and Integration experience across internal and external systems
- Github Copilot experience with GenAI-assisted development workflows
- Solution Architecture experience for secure services and platform design
