We're looking for a Senior Insurance Technology Consultant to join our team in Warsaw, Kraków or Gdańsk, Poland in a hybrid working mode.
As part of EPAM's growing Insurance Business Unit, you will work in a high-visibility, client-facing role that drives AI and cloud transformation programs for leading insurance organizations. Responsibilities
- Engage C-level stakeholders to define technology and AI transformation strategies for insurance clients across Europe
- Lead executive workshops, architecture reviews and strategic advisory sessions
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-value narratives for diverse audiences
- Validate and shape AI-powered solution strategies on enterprise cloud platforms
- Drive AI transformation initiatives, including adoption of GenAI tooling and developer productivity solutions
- Recommend cloud architecture patterns aligned with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, DORA and Solvency II
- Enable internal AI capabilities, including GenAI enablement programs and ROI measurement frameworks
- Support business development activities and identify new opportunities in European and Polish insurance markets
- Collaborate with EPAM teams on proposals, client interviews and growth strategies
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry or consulting experience, including 5+ years working with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Expertise in AI strategy and GenAI/LLM-based solutions, with hands-on understanding of enterprise deployment
- Solid knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven design, DevSecOps, CI/CD)
- Familiarity with AI lifecycle in SDLC environments, including prompt engineering and governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of the insurance value chain in P&C, Life and Reinsurance, and related regulatory landscapes
- Understanding of EU and Polish compliance frameworks (GDPR, DORA, Solvency II, KNF)
- Proven consulting experience, including RFP support, business case design and executive workshop facilitation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Fluent English; Polish language is an advantage
- Willingness to travel across Europe (up to 30–40%)

- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (or equivalent AWS/GCP certifications)
- Experience in platform engineering, Team Topologies or Domain-Driven Design (DDD) in an insurance context
