We're hiring a Full Stack Engineer to work across both the Java/Spring Boot backend and the React/TypeScript frontend of the platform. This is a flexible full-stack role: we're open to candidates who are strong in one stack and still building depth in the other — a backend-strong engineer growing into React, or a frontend-strong engineer growing into Java — rather than requiring equal mastery of both from day one. What matters is the ability to reason across the full stack, collaborate on API contracts, and take ownership of features end-to-end. We are looking for an AI-first engineer — someone who actively incorporates AI-assisted tooling into their day-to-day development workflow to accelerate delivery, rather than treating it as an afterthought.
This role supports a multi-tenant crisis intervention platform serving the 988 National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline across multiple state tenants and handling chat, SMS, and voice contacts. The active backlog includes referral routing logic, episode and admissions-tab workflows, region- and facility-based filtering, a configurable notification framework, and tiered admin permissions, spanning both backend services and frontend delivery, with several items requiring solution design before implementation.
