The Finance Process Excellence (FPE) Team is seeking a senior member to lead initiatives that enhance process efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and drive digital finance transformation across Corporate Finance. The role reports to the FPE Manager and partners closely with Finance teams (Accounting Shared Services, Controllers, Procurement, etc.) as well as cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Legal, internal development teams, etc.). The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with analytical capability, hands-on process knowledge, and proven experience implementing AI solutions that enhance processes, automate controls, or optimize workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead business process and financial cycle improvements that align with management’s strategic goals for efficient scalable and well-controlled finance operations
- Drive business analysis activities including discovery phases, process assessments, gap analysis, defining business requirements, proposing solutions tailored to organizational needs and obtaining stakeholder/leadership buy-in
- Oversee project management activities such as defining scope, stakeholders, dependencies, risks, execution plans, measures of success, driving solution implementation, monitoring effectiveness and ensuring sustainability and benefits realization
- Participate in internal development projects by contributing to the addition of automations or system enhancements on roadmaps, assisting Finance stakeholders in prioritizing functionality/requirements and understanding the impact of planned developments on business processes and controls
- Assist with designing and implementing AI-based solutions such as automated checks and AI-assisted analysis
- Support control owners in risk assessment and the design of internal controls aligned with corporate, SOX and statutory requirements
- Evaluate proposed process changes for risk exposure and control implications by consulting with relevant stakeholders including auditors to finalize
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- Proficiency in the English language at an upper-intermediate level or above
- Strong understanding of business processes and financial cycles (including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay) as well as internal controls and compliance
- 3-5 years of relevant experience including 2+ years in process design, transformation or continuous improvement
- Experience in large international organizations with exposure to end-to-end business cycles
- Experience using AI tools for personal efficiency (process analysis, drafting documentation, analytics, workflow optimization etc.)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives independently and drive projects to completion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to seamlessly interact with stakeholders at all levels
Nice to have
- Experience delivering AI‑enabled solutions resulting in workflow acceleration, automation of controls or process optimization
- Working knowledge of financial systems including ERP systems (preferably SAP), reconciliation and consolidation tools (Blackline or similar) and task-management applications
- Accounting (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or similar), project management (PMP or similar) or AI-related certificates
