Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Contrast Security
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer specializing in Contrast Security to co-own the day-to-day operation, administration, and continuous improvement of our security platforms, serving as the go-to technical expert for application teams, security teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage central configuration and ensure smooth operation of the platform, including upgrades and maintenance activities
- Investigate and resolve issues reported by users while troubleshooting scan execution in CI/CD pipelines
- Act on operational incidents, including recovery efforts, to minimize downtime and disruption
- Communicate with Contrast vendors regarding issues, feature requests, and timelines
- Participate in regular vendor meetings and escalate critical issues when necessary
- Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution through bug fixes and development of new features
- Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations across various environments
- Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and features to enhance platform capabilities
- Evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans accordingly
- Validate vendor fixes and patches prior to production deployment
- Provide feedback that influences product roadmap discussions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, platform administration, or a related technical role
- Expertise in Contrast Security platform administration and configuration
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting, including scan execution and integration
- Experience with SAP Piper pipeline solutions, including development and bug fixing
- Skills in vendor management, including issue escalation and feature request communication
- Background in incident response and operational recovery processes
- Understanding of security scanning tools and their integration within development workflows
- Competency in evaluating and adopting new product features and capabilities
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
