Senior DevOps Engineer with GCP

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in GCP to support and improve a cloud based platform. You will work on infrastructure design, automation, and system reliability while collaborating with engineering teams to enable efficient and stable delivery pipelines.

The project focuses on building and maintaining a scalable cloud platform that supports modern web applications and data driven services. It emphasizes reliability, automation, and continuous delivery across environments.

About the Team

You will be part of a cross functional team consisting of DevOps engineers, backend and frontend developers, and QA specialists. The team collaborates closely, follows shared engineering standards, and works on improving infrastructure and delivery processes as the platform evolves.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
• Develop and manage CI CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of services
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across environments
• Maintain security best practices across cloud infrastructure and deployments
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Experience working as a DevOps Engineer in cloud environments
• Strong hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Experience designing and managing CI CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi cloud environments
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with security practices in cloud environments
• Exposure to performance optimization and cost management in cloud platforms
