Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead and grow a team of Azure DevOps professionals. In this role, you will act as both a technical leader and people manager, driving the implementation of DevOps practices in Microsoft Azure and delivering high-load, highly available solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the group of Azure DevOps engineers leveraging people management experience
• Help employees in your unit with onboarding, adaptation, and career development
• Act as a technical leader, mentor, and grow professional leaders in your team
• Supervise and sometimes lead the implementation and configuration of client projects
• Drive the implementation of the DevOps approach in Microsoft Azure
• Build and maintain high-load and highly available multicomponent solutions
• Set up Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Configuration Management

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
• Proven leadership track record: ability to attract and grow talented people, successful delegation, coaching/mentorship, as well as commanding respect from team members
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure (Azure Kubernetes Service, API Management, AppService, Virtual Machines, MSSQL servers and databases, networking, VPNs, etc.)
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
• Background in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GoCD, Travis, CodePipeline, or Bamboo
• Proficiency in scripting/coding for automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, Java, .NET, or others
• Familiarity with monitoring tools
• Capability to conduct technical interviews and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, and reading) with Upper-Intermediate spoken English (B2)
