We are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead pre-sales and delivery of complex, large-scale programs within the energy sector.
This role is focused on driving modernization and digital transformation initiatives using both off-the-shelf and enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivery management, experience managing multi-stream programs, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-vendor environments. Preferred location is Athens or nearby.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets
- Lead pre-sales activities, including solution design, estimations, and direct client engagement
- Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives, to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Take ownership of delivery governance, risk management, and escalation processes across all programs
- Supervise third-party vendors and ensure successful integration of external solutions into the overall program
- Drive the execution of digital transformation and modernization projects within the energy sector
- Maintain high-quality delivery standards, monitor KPIs, and promote continuous improvement across all projects
- Mentor and guide delivery teams, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability
- Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L responsibility
Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior delivery, program, or architecture leadership role
- Experience participating in at least 8 projects or launching 2 or more products or key product capabilities to market
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade programs involving multiple workstreams, 40+ FTEs, and multi-year timelines
- Proven experience leading complex programs in the energy sector, including Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, or Utilities
- Strong background in pre-sales activities such as RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, estimations, and client presentations
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-vendor environments
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including PMI, PRINCE2, and Agile frameworks
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging C-level executives
- Educational background in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or industrial) is a strong advantage
- Fluency in Greek at B2+ level
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills at C1 business level, with executive-quality presentation abilities
