Senior Data Scientist
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects that require expertise in classical Machine Learning and specialization in domains such as NLP, CV, Time Series, MLE/MLOps, or Recommendation Systems. Responsibilities
- Work with EPAM’s clients and internal teams to conceptualize and implement AI/ML-based solutions
- Propose innovative solutions and strategies to address business problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology-driven business value
- Stay informed on the latest trends and developments in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on production experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
- Expertise in at least one domain: Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), Machine Learning Engineering, Time Series Analysis, Generative AI (GenAI)
- Strong proficiency in Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Solid experience with Python libraries and tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, numpy
- Understanding of working with time series data, including crafting predictive models
- Familiarity with deploying and optimizing LLMs or Generative AI in real-world use cases
- Fluency in English, with a minimum proficiency level of B2
Nice to have
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong communication and presentation skills that simplify technical complexities for non-technical stakeholders
