Senior Data Engineer (Talend / Oracle)

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, develop and implement scalable data solutions to support business objectives. You’ll demonstrate technical expertise, proactive problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring compliance and innovation in data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data store solutions for business needs
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend, leveraging CI/CD tools
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries and procedures
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across platforms
• Monitor and resolve data workflow and performance issues
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Prepare and maintain documentation for technical designs and data flows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals

Requirements

• Proven experience in Talend ETL development
• Strong background in Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning
• Demonstrated ability in data modeling, integration, and governance
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Confidence working with UNIX shell scripting and job scheduling
• Experience operating in Agile or distributed delivery environments
• Ability to manage end-to-end technical deliverables
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• Exposure to financial services domain
• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database
• Familiarity with risk management practices
