Senior Data Architect
About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Data Architect with proven experience in designing and transforming complex data platforms. Strong expertise in data modeling and ETL development using Snowflake is required. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and supervising the implementation of architectural changes to an existing enterprise-level data platform and the evolution of the data warehouse.
About the Project
The primary objective of this exciting project is to enhance the functionality of a cutting-edge Data Platform, empowering business users with the insights they need to make data-driven investment decisions. The Data Platform is already in production, and we are developing new features and projects tailored to specific business data-driven needs, as well as introducing ongoing architectural changes to increase usage efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Drive direct communications with stakeholders
- Elaborate on all technical aspects for the development team and justify any architectural decision
- Lead implementation of the solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"
- Guide clients through complex data transformation initiatives and ensure successful outcomes
- Lead solution architecture evaluation and assessment activities
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in a data architect/engineering role or 5-10 completed projects
- Data Governance, Data Management background
- Experience working with Azure Cloud
- Deep knowledge in DWH/Data Platforms
- Deep knowledge in Snowflake
- Knowledge of SQL and comfortable designing, writing, and maintaining complex SQL queries
- Experience establishing and using AI-assisted software development tools
- Experience in finance, investment
- Experience building data pipelines; ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
- Knowledge of data management fundamentals (data modeling, data quality, metadata management, data warehouse/lakes patterns, distributed systems)
- Excellent communication skills
