We are seeking a Senior Content Strategist to define and execute the content strategy that shapes the CLS user experience, driving clarity, accessibility, and trust across a complex technical product.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the overall content strategy and information architecture for the CLS platform, including the new Google Skills experience
Develop scalable content frameworks and establish the official Voice & Tone Guide for the product
Lead and execute core, high-impact content initiatives around Accessibility, ensuring all product content meets WCAG standards and supports screen readers and other assistive technologies
Own all UX copy for the CLS platform to eliminate friction and unblock product velocity for design and engineering teams
Serve as the content expert to mitigate reputational risk in AI features by ensuring user-facing content aligns with Google's AI Principles
Help drive alignment around the definition and measurement of UX quality, including user comprehension
Lead content-driven experiments such as A/B testing to demonstrate measurable ROI on content choices
Lead planning and prioritization efforts with cross-functional stakeholders and UX peers to define high-impact opportunities and operational efficiencies
Requirements
5-9 years of overall experience in the industry
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
6-8 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or technical writing in an applied product setting, including at least 3 years leading content strategy projects
Experience in UX-focused product writing and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects
Experience collaborating with and influencing stakeholders across Product Management, Data, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment between in-platform and external messaging
Experience in creating and executing content for complex technical products at scale
Portfolio, website, or other relevant link showcasing your work included in your resume
Nice to have
Background in EdTech, Cloud (B2B/B2C), or Enterprise learning space
Expertise in leading content design for complex technical products involving Trust, Consent, and Transparency
Direct experience leading and executing high-impact initiatives related to Accessibility (a11y) and Localization (l18n)
Familiarity with AI features and platforms, focusing on user trust and mental models
