Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and oversee the design, manufacture, and strategic marketing of products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Deliver comprehensive analyses and insightful reports to management, responding adeptly to inquiries and requests to drive informed decision-making
- Spearhead research initiatives to uncover and articulate the needs and desires of customers, aiding in the development of tailored solutions
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels and production schedules, ensuring product availability aligns with customer demands and market trends
- Manage the team backlog effectively by breaking down requirements, crafting user stories, and validating that customer needs are consistently met
- Actively identify areas for process improvement, leveraging your business analysis expertise to recommend and implement optimizations that enhance operational efficiency
Requirements
- 4+ years of business analysis or related experience
- 3+ years of experience working with software products, particularly in an analytical capacity
- Proven expertise with NetSuite applications
- Strong grasp of business and management principles and best practices
- Experience in managing a team backlog, breaking down requirements, writing user stories, and confirming customer needs are fulfilled
- Solid project management and business analysis skills, with an emphasis on Agile methodologies
- Exceptional negotiation, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Agile processes and tools, including Scrum, Kanban, and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), as well as Jira
Nice to Have
- Understanding of business operations, including purchasing, inventory management, planning, and finance
- Experience in developing user interface drafts to enhance user experience
- Proficiency in business process modeling, with knowledge of relevant notations and methodologies
- Professional certification (e.g., CCBA, CBAP - IIBA, PMI-PBA - PMI, CPRE - IREB) to further bolster your industry credentials
