Senior Backend Developer with Bitrix, Enterprise Portal

About the Position

We are looking for a Backend Developer with Bitrix experience to contribute to the development and enhancement of enterprise portals and business services built on the Bitrix platform. You will work on server side functionality, custom modules, integrations, and business process automation. Depending on your grade, you will take ownership of feature delivery, architectural decisions, code quality initiatives, and mentoring activities.

The project focuses on the development of a large scale enterprise portal ecosystem that supports business operations, integrations, and digital workflows across multiple systems. The platform requires ongoing enhancement, integration with external services, and optimization to ensure reliability and scalability.

About the Team

You will work within a cross functional team consisting of Backend Developers, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects. The team collaborates closely throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, and release.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize modules, components, and templates using Bitrix Framework D7
• Implement business processes, agents, event handlers, and REST methods
• Integrate the platform with external systems including CRM platforms, ESB solutions, payment gateways, and email services
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality improvements
• Develop and maintain reliable, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions
• For Middle level, deliver medium complexity features from requirements analysis through production release
• For Senior level, design application architecture, decompose and estimate tasks, conduct code reviews, and mentor Middle and Junior developers

Requirements

• Experience with PHP 7/8 development
• Knowledge of MySQL and Git
• Experience with Bitrix Framework corresponding to the target grade
• Senior level: 4+ years of commercial experience with Bitrix development
• Middle level: 2+ years of commercial experience with Bitrix development
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Understanding of clean code principles and software development best practices
• Experience working with REST APIs and data exchange formats including JSON and XML
• Experience collaborating within a team environment using Git flow processes and code review practices

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Composer
• Experience using Docker in development environments
• Familiarity with message queue solutions
• Experience with caching technologies such as Redis and Memcached
• Understanding of system integration patterns and enterprise applications
