Senior Automation Tester (JS)

We're currently seeking a Senior Automation Tester in JS to become part of our team. Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out testing strategies that stay aligned with project schedules and delivery objectives
• Spot, document, and follow defects through until they're resolved, working in close partnership with development teams
• Examine product requirements and specifications to establish the right scope of test coverage
• Construct and sustain durable, scalable testing frameworks that serve long-term project requirements
• Interpret test results and deliver clear, actionable summaries to relevant stakeholders
• Take part in sprint planning and estimation activities, offering a quality-driven viewpoint
• Regularly assess and improve existing testing methods to boost efficiency and expand coverage
• Work together with teams across different functions to maintain quality standards throughout the development process
• Examine production incidents to pinpoint root causes and suggest measures to prevent recurrence
• Guide junior colleagues by sharing proven practices and supporting their career development

Requirements

• 3+ years of practical, relevant experience in an Automation Tester role focused on JS
• Solid command of JavaScript and TypeScript for creating and sustaining test scripts
• Direct experience applying Playwright for test automation purposes
• Experience working with JS-based tools for automating web UI testing
• Background automating testing for web services and APIs
• Working knowledge of version control systems used to manage and track code updates
• Strong grasp of how test automation frameworks are structured and designed
• Experience applying BDD frameworks within a JS environment
• Capable communication skills with working English fluency at B2 level or above, enabling clear understanding of business needs and their translation into technical solutions
