Senior Automation Tester (Java)

• Identify, document, and track issues through resolution, working closely with the development team
• Evaluate product requirements and specifications to determine the appropriate scope of testing
• Build and maintain reliable, scalable testing infrastructure to support ongoing project needs
• Interpret testing results and share clear, actionable findings with relevant stakeholders
• Participate in sprint planning and estimation activities, bringing a quality-focused perspective
• Regularly review and improve existing testing processes to increase efficiency and coverage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent quality standards throughout development
• Investigate issues found in production environments to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
• Mentor junior team members by sharing best practices and supporting their professional growth

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on, relevant experience working as an Automation Tester in Java
• Strong proficiency in Java for developing and maintaining automated test scripts
• Experience using Java-based tools for automating web UI testing
• Background automating tests for web services and APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems for managing and tracking code changes
• Solid understanding of test automation framework architecture and design principles
• Experience working with BDD frameworks in a Java environment
• Solid communication skills with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, supporting clear understanding of business requirements and their translation into technical solutions
