Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript to join a project focused on developing and enhancing a Global Trade Management platform, integrating acquired technologies to provide robust bidirectional API connectivity and advanced product description algorithms. The platform leverages cloud technologies and data streaming to support scalable and intelligent trade compliance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for front-end and back-end components using JavaScript and related tools
• Collaborate closely with development teams and client managers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with evolving project scope
• Manage and prioritize testing activities to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex test failures, providing detailed reports and feedback to development teams
• Participate in regular team meetings to coordinate testing efforts and share knowledge on automation strategies
• Support the integration and validation of product description algorithms within the application
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Transition from a Test Automation Engineer role in the short term to a full stack role in the long term

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automated testing using JavaScript frameworks, with a strong foundation in test automation best practices
• Skills in designing and maintaining complex test suites for API and UI layers within a cloud-based, distributed environment
• Capability to independently manage comprehensive regression testing cycles and handle repetitive testing tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with integration of algorithmic components into applications, demonstrating ability to understand and validate complex business logic
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
