Senior Automation Tester (C++)
We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to shape automation strategy and quality practices for a large-scale game development lifecycle. You will lead a small technical QA team, expand automated coverage, and partner with engineers to resolve complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Define test strategy and test plans across the full development lifecycle
- Lead automation direction and prioritize technical objectives to meet quality goals
- Build and extend automated test suites using existing frameworks and tooling
- Maintain and improve test automation framework architecture for scalability and reliability
- Execute and oversee regression cycles, including targeted manual playthroughs
- Drive defect triage and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues
- Align with production and engineering on technical requirements and quality risks
- Communicate findings as clear, actionable insights to keep delivery on track
- Coach and mentor a small QA team on tools, standards, and best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in software testing
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in automated testing and/or scripting
- Strong C++ proficiency for test automation and technical troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and JUnit in test automation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for complex defect investigation
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for clear cross-team communication
Nice to have
- CI/CD experience with systems such as Jenkins or TeamCity
- AAA game testing experience across multiple development phases
- Python scripting experience supporting automation and tooling
- TestRail experience for test case management and reporting
- Unreal Engine testing experience
