We are seeking a Senior AI-Native Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of integrated digital solutions for a major oil and gas client in the Middle East.
This role requires a unique blend of deep engineering and architecture expertise, hands-on AI delivery experience, and the ability to build trusted relationships with C-level executives and government stakeholders in a multicultural, Arabic business environment. The successful candidate will serve as the primary client contact, lead a diverse delivery team, and play a key role in account growth, with regular business travel to the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of digital solution delivery, from ideation to production roll-out, for complex enterprise environments
- Act as the main point of contact for the client, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals
- Manage and motivate a multicultural, interdisciplinary delivery team across multiple workstreams
- Oversee project planning, estimation, and execution in technically complex and ambiguous settings
- Drive Agile and Scrum practices focused on delivering measurable business outcomes
- Implement rigorous risk management processes, proactively identifying and mitigating delivery risks
- Govern delivery across a broad stakeholder board, including C-level executives and government officials
- Support account growth, delivery strategy, and client satisfaction KPIs in partnership with account management teams
- Guide the architecture and integration of backend platforms, including microservices, event-driven systems, and API-led integrations
- Oversee enterprise integration, data architecture, and security for hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
- Lead AI/ML delivery initiatives, from use-case prioritization and PoC to production deployment and iterative improvement
- Make informed architectural decisions on modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector stores, and prompt engineering
- Utilize AI tools in daily delivery management, such as AI coding assistants and automated planning solutions
Requirements
- At least 15 years of progressive IT experience, with a minimum of 8 years in senior delivery, program, or architecture leadership roles
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade programs with multiple workstreams, 50+ FTEs, and multi-year timelines
- Expert-level leadership in Agile and Scrum, with a focus on outcomes and portfolio management across concurrent projects
- Strong skills in risk management, including proactive identification, quantification, and mitigation of delivery risks
- Advanced planning and estimation abilities in complex, ambiguous technical environments
- Experience governing delivery across senior stakeholder boards, including C-level and government representatives
- Proven track record supporting account growth, delivery strategy, and client satisfaction in collaboration with account management
- Deep expertise in backend platforms and services architecture, including microservices, event-driven systems, and API-led integration
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including infrastructure as code, containers, CI/CD, and observability
- Experience managing complex hybrid environments that combine cloud, on-premises, multi-vendor, and legacy systems
- Proficiency in enterprise integration patterns, data architecture (data lakes, lakehouses, streaming), and enterprise-grade security
- Hands-on experience leading AI/ML delivery from ideation and use-case prioritization through PoC and production roll-out
- Technical literacy in modern AI architectures, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, embedding/vector stores, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering
- Working knowledge of cloud AI platforms such as Azure AI/OpenAI Service, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, and Databricks
- Experience managing interdisciplinary AI teams, including data engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, and business product owners
- Personal experience using AI tools in delivery management, such as AI coding assistants and AI-driven risk/planning tools
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills at a C1 business level, with executive-level presentation abilities
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt communication style for different cultural and seniority contexts
- Proven people leadership skills, fostering team motivation, psychological safety, and high performance in multicultural teams
