Quality Assurance Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled SDET with strong experience in test automation, framework development, and quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in both Selenium and Playwright to build scalable and reliable automation solutions.
Resource has to work in Pacific TimeZone.
Essential functions
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web applications.
- Create automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute test cases using Selenium and Playwright.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall product quality.
- Participate in code reviews and promote automation best practices.
- Perform API testing and validate backend services.
- Prepare test reports, metrics, and documentation.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 3–7 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar.
- Strong understanding of test automation framework design patterns.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Understanding of security and accessibility testing.
