Python Developer with AWS AgentCore Memory API

About the Position

We are looking for a Python Developer to support the implementation of memory enabled agent capabilities for an AI Agent Platform. You will contribute to backend engineering tasks related to stateful services, session management, context persistence, and Python SDK development.

About the Project

This project is centered on a platform for memory enabled agents that supports write on turn and retrieve on turn workflows. It includes integration with the AWS AgentCore Memory API and agent templates to help teams enable memory without custom code.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python helpers for memory enabled agents\nIntegrate write on turn session event storage and retrieve on turn context fetching
• Implement memory lifecycle operations using the AWS AgentCore Memory API including create, query, update, and delete
• Design memory namespaces with per agent isolation and per user scoping
• Support agent template integration to enable memory through configuration
• Build and integrate APIs for stateful services
• Contribute to session management and context persistence

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience with AI or ML systems
• Experience with API integration for stateful services
• Experience with session management and context persistence
• Experience with Python SDK development
• Experience with Python
• Experience with AWS AgentCore Memory API including create memory, query memory, update memory, and delete memory
• Experience with memory namespace design including per agent isolation and per user scoping

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS AgentCore Memory SDK usage
• Experience with LangChain memory integration
• Experience with agent framework development using LangGraph or Crew
• Experience with conversational AI context handling
