One of our client (a leading bank of Singapore) is undertaking a strategic upgrade of its Murex MX.3 platform to enhance system resilience, support new product capabilities, and align with evolving regulatory and operational requirements.
This initiative includes upgrading from version 3.1.42.48b to 3.1.6x.x, onboarding the EQA and OSP Excess modules, and implementing comprehensive reconciliation, testing automation, and governance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver the Murex upgrade Program
- Responsible & Accountable for end to end execution of project
- Responsible for Project Initiation, Planning & Scheduling, Execution & Completion
- Stakeholder communication, stakeholder management & fostering strong relationship with clients, team members & end user stakeholders
- Identifying Risk, Issues, Critical path activities and tracking their mitigations, resolution & coming up with solutions
- Provide status update related to all the stakeholders
- Responsible for People Management & Resource management
- Project status tracking & setting up different levels of governance
SKILLS
Must have
- Overall 15+ years of experience in Murex implementations
- At least 6+ years of experience in Murex Project Management & Program Management
- Strong Understanding of Murex Architecture & ability to comprehend end to end processes
- Subject Matter Expert in at least one Murex Module (MxML & Back Office Workflows, Datamart Reporting or Front Office)
- Overall good understanding
- Understand the Tri party dependencies and manages risks and issues effectively.
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Project management tools exposure (Jira etc.) & scrum certification
Nice to have
- Project Management Certification (PMP) or Agile Certification
- Experience in handling Murex binary upgrade project
