Project Manager
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a strategic, high-visibility backend rewrite program. You will be the central orchestrator, bridging enterprise architecture, senior leadership, and agile development squads. Your mission is to ensure the successful delivery of a modern, cloud-native Java ecosystem that is reliable, resilient, and ready for the next decade. This role is pivotal in de-risking a legacy modernization effort while maintaining uninterrupted service for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Acquire resources, coordinate team members, and manage project scope, schedule, and costs
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and foster team collaboration
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
- Track project performance and report to stakeholders
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Organize and lead project meetings
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage the Scrum team
- Craft and deliver clear communications for diverse audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- Project management experience in IT or related fields
- Proven track record of delivering projects successfully
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and project management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in agile project management methodologies
