Our flagship project Gardenscapes is entering a new era of visual quality. We're looking for a talented and experienced Principal VFX Artist to help us achieve our ambitious goals and maintain our leadership in the casual game genre.

The team includes the strongest specialists in all fields, UI, 2D, VFX, and animation. We work in short iterations and regularly synchronize with external producers, which allows us to quickly test ideas and implement changes. You'll have the opportunity to participate in creating new features, directly influence the product, develop approaches and pipelines, and exchange experience with leading industry experts.

Responsibilities

  • Development of complex UI effects for features
  • Redesign of legacy UI effects
  • Integration of developed effects into the game
  • Optimization and creation of new universal effects for the design system
  • Creation of documentation for key effects
  • Distribution of solutions and technologies across teams
  • Formation of a vision for effects in the UI layer of the project and close collaboration with the project producer

Requirements

  • A portfolio in a casual style and 5+ years of experience as an effects artist or animator, preferably in mobile projects
  • An understanding of the full cycle of VFX development for UI (strong preference for experience in the match-3 genre)
  • The ability to make a quick and complex search for new VFX solutions, as well as use ready-made solutions from the top products on the market as references
  • Artistic taste and strong hard skills in creating effects without long searches and iterations The main emphasis is on quality and speed
  • A deep understanding of the technical side of game effects (atlases, batching, effects mechanics)
  • Product thinking and full immersion in the top products in the market
  • Fluent in Russian
