We are seeking a detail-oriented Personnel Officer to manage personnel administration processes, maintain accurate employee records, and ensure compliance with labor legislation while supporting the organization's HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage personnel administration to support employee lifecycle (hiring, transfers, changes to employment terms, leave, and termination)
- Prepare and maintain employment-related documents in line with Uzbekistan labor legislation and company policies
- Maintain accurate employee data and personnel records in internal HR systems, 1C, MyMehnat, databases, and physical or electronic archives
- Ensure that employee documentation is complete, properly organized, securely stored, and available for audit or authorized review
- Provide employees and managers with clear guidance on personnel administration processes, required documents, deadlines, and applicable labor-law requirements
- Support internal and external audits by collecting documentation, verifying records, and addressing findings within the assigned area of responsibility
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of personnel administration policies, templates, and workflows
- Operate in related personnel shared services
- Handle employee personal data and confidential documentation in accordance with privacy, information-security, and retention requirements
- Coordinate with People teams, managers, payroll, finance, legal, and external authorities on personnel administration matters within the role scope
- Use approved digital and AI & automation tools responsibly to improve routine documentation and administrative workflows, while protecting confidential employee data
Requirements
- Completed higher education
- Practical experience in personnel administration, or a similar operational HR role
- Working knowledge of local labor legislation and its practical application
- Confidence working with 1C, MyMehnat and electronic document workflows
- Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of tasks
- Ability to follow established processes, identify gaps or risks, and suggest practical improvements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and take ownership of assigned tasks
- English proficiency appropriate for an international business environment; B2+ or higher is preferred
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including privacy, confidentiality, human review, and the use of company-approved tools when processing HR data
