The Office Administrator is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the office, ensuring a safe, functional, and engaging workplace environment. The role oversees office administration, facilities management, health & safety compliance, vendor relationships, workplace services, and employee experience activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for landlord.
- Act as the primary point of contact for local office communications related to administration matters.
- Manage all courier and postal services, including incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Coordinate and organize staff events, team gatherings, and office celebrations, including venue selection, logistics, suppliers, and on-the-ground execution.
- If needed, maintain office supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Manage office-related purchase orders, invoices, and expense records.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes from an office administration and IT perspective (e.g. laptop set up).
- Maintain accurate office records, documentation, contracts, and service agreements.
- Ensure office facilities are maintained to a high standard and are fully operational.
- Ensure the workplace complies with all applicable local occupational health and safety regulations and legislation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Office Management, Facilities Management, Workplace Operations, or a similar role.
- Experience managing office vendors, contractors, landlords, and service providers.
- Experience coordinating corporate events and employee engagement activities.
- Knowledge of workplace management tools and systems.
