NodeJS Developer
We are looking for a Node.js Developer to join our team and support a leading U.S. restaurant brand with a highly scalable cloud architecture powering its mobile app, website, kiosks, and delivery operations. The company is investing heavily in cloud modernization to improve the guest experience, increase reliability and operational efficiency, and accelerate software delivery across its digital ecosystem.
Essential functions
- Design, develop, and extend the unified Node.js middleware layer to enable seamless API integration across multiple applications and services.
- Build and maintain API Gateway and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) components, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, implementing reliable asynchronous workflows and optimizing data exchange across distributed systems.
Qualifications
- +5 years of experience in development
Advanced backend/middleware development experience using Node.js and TypeScript. - Strong background building API Gateways, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers, or middleware orchestration layers.
- Deep knowledge of API integration patterns (RESTful APIs, GraphQL) and handling asynchronous operations.
- Experience with GCP
