Middle Accountant - Shared Service AP Team

We are seeking a Middle Accountant to support our global shared service Accounts Payable team in Argentina. You will ensure compliant documentation, execute bank transfers, and maintain US GAAP expense records while supporting SAP close. Apply to join us today

Responsibilities

• Review expenditure support documents and validate the accuracy of all accounting details
• Manage bank payment execution for EPAM partners, including local and international transfers, using batch and single transactions
• Record and maintain US GAAP company expenses by category and document accounts payable and banking transactions
• Finalize monthly closing activities for designated SAP accounts in accordance with company guidelines
• Communicate with local statutory accountants to address bookkeeping questions as needed
• Compile explanations and provide backup documentation to Senior or Lead Accountants for all relevant entities when requested
• Resolve internal and external inquiries, join meetings, and supply audit support documentation
• Collaborate with the IT team on process improvement initiatives, evaluate enhancement opportunities, and help test new solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting roles
• Advanced skills in MS Office with strong Excel capabilities for analysis and reporting
• High attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards
• Strong accountability and ownership for assigned responsibilities
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures consistently
• Drive for continuous learning and professional development
• Proven ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural teams
• English at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, written and spoken

Nice to have

• ACCA or DipIFR qualification
• Hands-on SAP experience in an accounting environment
• Exposure to Accounts Payable or Treasury functions
