We are looking for a Middle Accountant to join our global shared service Accounts Payable accounting team in Argentina. You will ensure correct document validation, handle bank payments, and maintain US GAAP bookkeeping while completing SAP month-end activities. Responsibilities
- Review supporting expenditure documentation and confirm accounting attributes are correct
- Arrange bank payments to EPAM counterparties, including domestic and international wire transfers plus batch and individual payments
- Record US GAAP bookkeeping entries for expenditures by type and post associated accounts payable and bank payments
- Perform monthly closing activities for assigned SAP accounts according to established procedures
- Liaise with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping topics when required
- Supply explanations and supporting documentation to the Senior or Lead Accountant for relevant companies as requested
- Respond to internal and external requests, participate in meetings, and provide supporting documents for audits
- Support process improvement efforts with the IT development team, analyze gaps, and test new enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting roles
- Advanced MS Office skills with strong Excel capabilities for reporting and analysis
- Careful attention to detail and dedication to compliance requirements

- English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, written and spoken
Nice to have
- ACCA or DipIFR certification
- Experience working with SAP for accounting operations
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable or Treasury processes
