Responsibilities
- Assess expenditure support documents and confirm all accounting details are correct
- Coordinate bank payments to EPAM partners, including local and international transfers via batch and single transactions
- Maintain US GAAP expense records by category and document accounts payable and banking transactions
- Run monthly closing activities for designated accounts in SAP while following company guidelines
- Interact with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping questions when needed
- Share explanations and backup documentation with Senior or Lead Accountants for all relevant entities upon request
- Answer internal and external inquiries, attend meetings, and provide audit support documentation
- Support process improvement work with the IT team, identify enhancement opportunities, and participate in testing new solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of professional experience in accounting roles
- Advanced MS Office knowledge, with a strong focus on Excel for analysis and reporting
- Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to compliance standards
- Proven ownership mindset with accountability for results
- Ability to operate effectively within established policies and procedures
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Experience collaborating in diverse, multicultural teams
- English proficiency B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, spoken and written
Nice to have
- ACCA or DipIFR qualification
- SAP experience within an accounting environment
- Understanding of Accounts Payable or Treasury functions
