Machine Learning Engineer

Requirements:

• Hands-on with Machine Learning modelling, good understanding of ML fundamentals
• Proficiency in Python software engineering (parallel/asynchronous computing, unit-testing, CI/CD, etc.)
• Solid grounding in statistics and experimental design
• Advanced SQL, comfort working with large datasets
• Experience with ETL workflows and scheduling pipelines (e.g. Airflow)

Would be a plus:

• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for data visualisation
• Familiarity with MLOps tools, Databricks platform
• Experience building REST APIs and working with real-time streaming data
• Recommendation systems, NLP/LLMs or other generative AI experience
• Subscription-based product data familiarity

Responsibilities:

• Work on subscription/ads/in-app LTV prediction services
• Ensure efficiency, reliability, explainability and observability in ML pipelines
• Build and maintain ETL workflows, querying large tables
• Detect anomalies, data drifts, prediction shifts; partner with User Acquisition managers on investigations
• Collaborate with data engineers on data quality issues detection
• Participate in generative AI projects
