Lead Microsoft 365 Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Lead Microsoft 365 Engineer to oversee and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, lead projects, and ensure seamless performance of M365 services, providing expert guidance and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and updates in the Microsoft 365 environment
- Collaborate with team members to identify user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement best practices for compliance and performance within the M365 environment
- Investigate complex issues that users are experiencing
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, ensuring a seamless experience with M365 applications
- Create and maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations and procedures
- Monitor the performance and usage of Microsoft 365 services
- Stay abreast of the latest M365 features and updates to leverage new capabilities and improve existing systems
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for Microsoft 365 usage
- Provide technical support for Microsoft 365-related projects
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to continuously improve team processes and outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience as an M365 Engineer or similar role within a global and agile setting
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform
- Experience with programming languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or C#
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services, particularly Azure
- Experience with security and compliance in Microsoft 365
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
