Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities
- Define the technology strategy for AI/ML solutions in partnership with EPAM's clients and teams
- Identify methods to address complex business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create measurable business outcomes
- Remain informed about cutting-edge developments in Data Science and AI
- Guide and build Data Science expertise within the team
- Drive strategic innovation in AI and Data Science
Requirements
- 6+ years of practical experience in Data Science or Machine Learning at the production level
- Proficiency in at least two areas, such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning Engineering, Computer Vision, Time Series, or Recommendation Systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Expertise in Deep Learning methodologies
- Skills in programming, preferably using Python
- Strong leadership qualities and team management experience
- B2+ level of English proficiency for both written and verbal communication

- Proven success in collaborating with clients from the Middle East region
- Background in industries like Oil and Gas or E-commerce
