Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities
- Define the technological vision for AI/ML-driven solutions in collaboration with EPAM's clients and teams
- Develop approaches to resolve complex business problems
- Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful value to clients
- Keep informed about emerging trends and developments in Data Science and AI
- Guide and enhance the Data Science competency
- Oversee key strategic initiatives in AI and Data Science
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience working with Data Science or Machine Learning in production environments
- Proficiency in a minimum of two domains, such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning Engineering, Computer Vision, Time Series, or Recommendation Systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Expertise in Deep Learning methodologies
- Programming skills, particularly in Python
- Strong capability in leadership and managing teams effectively
- B2+ proficiency in English, both spoken and written
