We are looking for a Lead Cloud Migration and Infrastructure Engineer to spearhead infrastructure initiatives across M&A integration programs, guiding teams through Day 1 cutovers, post-close stabilization and long-term operational transitions. In this leadership role, you will shape integration strategy while orchestrating execution across networking, identity, cloud and security disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Direct infrastructure workstreams throughout M&A integration lifecycles, from Day 1 preparation through post-close delivery
- Define the end-to-end integration strategy, roadmap and key milestones, factoring in TSA considerations, cutover sequencing and rollback contingencies
- Conduct technical discovery and current-state assessments to establish target-state architecture and integration approach
- Orchestrate delivery across network and connectivity domains (WAN/LAN, VPN, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, segmentation), identity and access platforms (AD/Azure AD/Entra, SSO/MFA, IAM, privileged access) and messaging and collaboration suites (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace migrations)
- Guide workstreams covering endpoint and device management (Intune/SCCM/MDM, patching, encryption), server and cloud platforms (Windows/Linux, virtualization, AWS/Azure/GCP) and ITSM and monitoring tooling (ServiceNow, CMDB, logging/observability)
- Align integration delivery with security, compliance and risk standards covering data protection, access controls and audit readiness
- Manage cross-functional dependencies across application, security, workplace and business stakeholder groups while engaging external vendors and MSPs where required
- Monitor progress, risks and issues, delivering structured reporting to program leadership and executive sponsors
- Contribute to integration budget planning, resource forecasting and capacity decisions
- Lead operational handover to steady-state teams, ensuring documentation and runbooks are complete and validated
Requirements
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure roles, including substantial experience leading complex multi-domain programs
- Track record of leading M&A infrastructure integrations or comparable large-scale integration and migration initiatives
- Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure spanning networking, identity and endpoint management, with cloud/hybrid and security fundamentals
- Demonstrated capability to lead through influence across distributed teams and geographies
- Solid program execution expertise covering planning, governance, RAID management and cutover orchestration
- Outstanding stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience with TSA planning and execution alongside divestiture separation projects
- Understanding of Zero Trust principles, modern identity and cloud migration patterns
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
