Lead Azure DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, working with a leading company to enhance their customer experience. As a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and container tools for Azure Cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure site reliability, improve incident response, and enhance security and compliance. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML, ensuring efficient and effective deployment of software solutions
- Develop automation scripts in Azure Cloud, utilizing scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure site reliability, enhance security and compliance, and improve incident response
- Maintain container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless and efficient deployment of software solutions
- Deploy Container Registry (preferred ACR) deployments, ensuring seamless and efficient deployment of software solutions
- Manage Azure Monitor and Azure Policy, ensuring effective monitoring and compliance with policies
- Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the highest level of service delivery
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Prepare reports and documentation on software deployment and maintenance, ensuring efficient and effective communication with stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- 1+ years of team leading experience
- Expertise in automation scripts in Azure Cloud, using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI
- Experience in Git version control and Terraform
- Expertise with container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred AKS experiences)
- Expertise with Container Registry (preferred ACR) deployments
- Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor and Azure Policy
- Familiarity with Azure security and compliance
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
