Lead Adobe Commerce Engineer (Magento)

We're looking for a Lead Adobe Commerce Engineer to join a new stream dedicated to building Food Ordering functionality into an existing platform, which is built on Headless Adobe Commerce and integrated with Adobe AEM and Adobe SaaS Services.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain GraphQL-based headless Adobe Commerce solutions
Implement OOP framework principles and design patterns throughout the platform architecture
Build and integrate functionality leveraging Adobe Commerce SaaS services, AppBuilder apps, and APIMesh
Produce clean, maintainable PHP code, covering XML handling, files, sessions, cookies, exceptions, and error processing
Design and build RESTful APIs that align with industry standards
Develop and run Unit test cases using PHPUnit
Work alongside distributed teams in accordance with Agile development principles
Handle code versioning and collaboration via Git-based systems
Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders across the development lifecycle

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) headless development using GraphQL
Understanding of OOP frameworks and design patterns
Skilled in PHP, including XML, file handling, sessions, cookies, exceptions, and error processing
Hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce SaaS services (LiveSearch, CatalogService), AppBuilder apps, and APIMesh
Comfortable with version control systems (Git, GitLab, ADO, etc)
Solid background in Web Services frameworks and RESTful API standards
Working knowledge of PHPUnit and writing Unit test cases
Familiarity with Agile development principles
Intermediate or higher spoken English proficiency
Ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed team
Strong sense of reliability, responsibility, and communication skills
